Eswatini Bank, in collaboration with its technology partner Modefin, has been honored with the Most Innovative Digital Wallets Deployment Award at the prestigious IBSi Global FinTech Innovation Awards 2024.
The accolade recognizes the duo’s groundbreaking ShareSha digital wallet solution, which has revolutionized financial management and accessibility for consumers in Eswatini.
Hosted by IBS Intelligence, the Global FinTech Innovation Awards celebrate transformative achievements in the banking and financial technology sectors. This year’s awards evaluated 400 nominations from 155 financial institutions and 90 technology vendors across 30 categories worldwide.

Notably, ShareSha has been instrumental in advancing financial inclusion in Eswatini by providing banking services to underserved communities through a network of locally based agents.
