EXECUTIVE APPOINTMENTS OVER THE PAST THREE MONTHS


Inside Biz takes a look at executive appointments that have taken place over the past three months in the country.

There have been a considerable number of changes that have taken place in the hot seat of different companies or organizations in the country. Inside Biz takes a look at those occupying these seats now. We have not only featured Chief Executive Officers and Executive Directors but also taken a look at institutions with new Board Chairpersons.

Gcina Dladla

Eswatini Environment Authority- Executive Director

Gcina Dladla is the current Executive Director of the Eswatini Environment Authority. He previously served as the Director of Policy at the aforementioned government agency. Meanwhile, another notable appointee at the same agency is Thabiso Nzuza, who was appointed as the new Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of the organization.

Muzi Siyaya

Ubombo Sugar Limited- Managing Director

Muzi Siyaya is not new to Executive positions. He has held various senior and executive corporate roles in Eswatini and South Africa. These include; being the Chief Executive Officer at Semane Engineering Solutions; an independent, Level 1 BBBEE, majority Black-owned provider of multi-disciplinary engineering solutions company developing the infrastructure so necessary for the future prosperity of Sub-Saharan Africa. Siyaya held this position from October 2019 to June 2022.

He has also been a Group Executive at GIBB Engineering & Architecture, South Africa. Before that, he was the Managing Director of MSG AFRICA INVESTMENT HOLDINGS.

Mandla Nkambule

Youth Enterprise Revolving Fund Eswatini- Chief Executive Officer/Fund Manager

Mandla Nkambule is the new CEO of the YERF. He is a senior management professional with nineteen (19) years of experience leading reputable companies. He is a Chartered Accountant by profession and has held senior positions at institutions such as the Eswatini Investment Promotion Authority (EIPA), and the Eswatini Sugar Association, among others.

Thembinkosi Dlamini

Coordinating Assembly for Non-Governmental Organizations (CANGO) Executive Director

Thembinkosi Dlamini took over as the Executive Director of the Coordinating Assembly for Non- Governmental Organizations (CANGO) from long-serving Director, Emmanuel Ndlangamandla. Dlamini is an economist by profession and was the Senior Extractives Lead for Oxfam South Africa; a social justice organization working at the intersection of poverty and inequality.

Mzwandile Dlamini

CMAC Board Chairperson
Mzwandile Dlamini has taken over from Zweli Jele, who was the chairperson of the previous Conciliation Mediation & Arbitration Commission (CMAC) board. An experienced human capital practitioner, Dlamini is also the head of Human Capital at Eswatini Civil Aviation Authority (ESWACAA).

Meshack Kunene

Fincorp Board Chairman
Meshack Kunene needs no introduction. He is the former Managing Director of the Electricity Company (EEC) having worked for 40 years at the parastatal. Before being the MD, he held a number of positions in the organization which include; technician, planning engineer, distribution manager, and general manager.
