The Eswatini International Trade Fair (EITF) has announced its highly anticipated Win a Car competition, thanks to the generous sponsorship from WesBank Eswatini.

This year, the grand prize is a Toyota Starlet Cross worth E320 000 which one fortunate EITF visitor will drive home.

EITF spokesperson Siphesihle Nkhabindze expressed enthusiasm about the competition, saying, “We are excited, to have a car as a grand prize at the Trade Fair yet again this year. This competition would not have been possible without our partnership with WesBank Eswatini. Our partner WesBank Eswatini has contributed E250,000 towards the car, while the Eswatini Investment Promotion Authority (EIPA) has contributed E70,000, leading to the total value of the car amounting to E320,000”.

To enter the competition, emaSwati can visit the EITF until September 8, 2024. Visitors need to collect stamps on their competition entry forms by visiting various exhibition stands at the Fair.

Completed entry forms should be dropped into the designated entry box, with the winner set to be announced during the EITF closing ceremony. Entry forms are available at the WesBank stand at the Trade Fair.

Nkhabindze added “In the past, we have seen winners of the Win a Car competition at the EITF transform their businesses just by winning this vehicle. As many business owners know, having a vehicle significantly enhances a business’s ability to be mobile, reach clients more effectively, and transport products promptly. We look forward to transforming the life of one lucky winner again this year. However, this does not mean that the competition is just open to just business people, as members of the public can enter the competition draw as well.

Nkhabindze then thanked all the sponsors and partners that made the Trade Fair possible.” In addition to the WesBank sponsorship, this year’s EITF has also welcomed several key partners including FNB Eswatini, Jenny Internet, 8Bet—sponsor of the Trade Fair Cup—Swaziland Building Society, Mula Sport, Eswatini Bank, Dixies, Eswatini Air, Corban Electrical, Kellogg’s, Montigny Investments, Lush Hair, Infinity Knits, Clockwork Global, Tex Ray, Eswatini Sugar Association, and Manzini Municipal Council. The media partners for the event are Eswatini TV, Eswatini Observer, VOC FM, and EBIS”.
