More Sponsors As EITF 2024 Draws Closer

The Eswatini International Trade Fair (EITF) 2024 has gained additional sponsors and partners, further strengthening support for the event which is scheduled to take place from August 30 to September 8, 2024.

The Corban Group of Companies announced a E30,000 sponsorship aimed at promoting cultural activities during the trade fair, complementing the E50,000 contribution by MulaSport announced earlier. Eswatini Sugar Association (ESA) and other new partners, including VOC, Infinity Needs, and Giant Clockwork, have also joined the list of sponsors.

The Corban Group, a consistent supporter of the EITF since 2015, reiterated its commitment to preserving Eswatini’s cultural heritage. Thulani Tsabedze, Human Resources Manager at The Corban Group, emphasized the significance of their contribution, stating, “We are honoured to contribute to the preservation and celebration of Eswatini’s rich cultural heritage. Our support underscores our long-term commitment to the trade fair.”

Mluleki Dlamini, Director of the Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSME) Department under the Ministry of Commerce, Industry, and Trade, represented the EIPA board chair during the sponsorship unveiling. 

He praised the partnerships, highlighting their mutual benefits, and stressed the importance of digital transformation in business growth.

“This collaboration will go a long way, as the program director has stated, in execution of this event in terms of its success. And it’s based on a mutual benefit. All of us win in this situation. So as you support us, we’ll be able to deliver efficiently and also something that will improve the quality at this stage,” Dlamini said. 

“The central theme for this year is accelerating business growth through digital transformation, and we consider it a call for businesses and government entities to harness digital tools and technology for their growth. We are in the fourth industrial revolution, which means all businesses need to embrace digital transformation for their growth. The various and ever-evolving digital tools to leverage business growth and transformation are indispensable in our age.”

He also noted the alignment of the trade fair’s theme with the government’s ‘Nkwe!’ declaration, emphasizing the strategic integration of these initiatives.

Meanwhile, the Eswatini Sugar Association contributed 100 packs of 1 kg Low GI sugar, showcasing its commitment to promoting healthier lifestyle choices among emaSwati. This influx of sponsorships underscores the trade fair’s growing importance as a platform for business and cultural exchange in Eswatini. As preparations intensify, EIPA anticipates significant local and international participation, setting the stage for a successful and impactful event.
