The Eswatini CEO Outlook 2022 Report has revealed that Mvuselelo Fakudze, (CE Standard Bank Eswatini) E. Nathi Dlamini (CEO Business Eswatini), Fikile Nkosi, (MD Nedbank Eswatini), and Mbali Sibanyoni (MD Swaziland Building Society) are the most admired CEOs/leaders within their peers in the country.
The report notes that over 100 CEOs were surveyed from different sectors of the economy and country. Most of the CEOs picked the above CEOs as the ones they admire the most. “We asked leaders to share what other CEOs apart from themselves they admire in Eswatini and the same names kept popping up. A good majority of the CEOs were mentioning the same names” notes the report. The report was compiled by Talanta.co, a specialist business consultancy operating across the African continent.

The report further notes that from the responses, CEOs were concerned by policy uncertainty, geopolitical uncertainty, and economic growth uncertainty. Leaders of organizations in the country also highlighted the value brought by employees to their respective organizations as a critical operational priority in achieving their growth objectives. However, in the same breath 87% of leaders were concerned or highly concerned about the declining well-being of employees. CEOs noted that the accelerated pace of digital transformation through the pandemic would not be sustainable without first addressing burnout among their workforces. Positively, CEOs indicated that they would increase their spending in talent development either significantly or moderately over the next three years.
